Best gigs to attend in 2022

Posted 01 Feb 2022

After two years of isolation and delays, the UK’s gig industry is officially back and raring to go! 2022 is jam packed with tours from the best in the business, from chart topping current artists to legendary music icons, this year has got something for everyone. So without further ado, allow us to run you through the best gigs to attend in 2022, according to ZenSeats.

Sir Elton John

After an incredible 50 years in the music industry, having sold 300 million records and finding success on Broadway, Elton John is saying Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. That’s right, the legend himself is retiring but he’s planning on going out with a bang and is currently on a four year long tour that will see him perform in 15 countries at 108 shows!

The Elton John farewell tour is guaranteed to be an emotional experience with the musical genius performing his catalogue of hits whilst dressed in dazzling costumes and accompanied by mind-blowing special effects. Elton John comes to the UK in June 2022 for nine dates, and he will then be returning once again in 2023 for a further 23 concerts.

Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish took the world by storm when she crept onto the scene a few years ago and since then her stardom has only continued to soar with every new release. Her second and latest album Happier Than Ever reached number one in 25 countries and it is this album that she is spotlighting with her long awaited current tour.

The Happier Than Ever tour is worldwide and will be reaching the United Kingdom in June 2022, with 12 dates across the country. Not only is the tour grabbing attention due to Eilish’s haunting voice and powerful lyrics, but also because the young singer has endeavoured to make the events as eco-friendly as possible.

Stormzy

Stormzy has ticked all the boxes since he rose to fame, not only is he one of the best rappers in the industry right now but he’s also a great role model and loved by sons and mums alike! After being discovered on Youtube for his Wicked Skengman series, Stormzy has gone from strength to strength and even headlined Glastonbury.

Stormzy’s Heavy is the Head 2022 tour is highly anticipated due to it originally being scheduled for 2020 but facing major setbacks due to Covid-19. However, the wait is finally over and the UK grime artist will be coming to our stages in March and April this year. Stormzy is well known for dominating the stage and knowing how to really get a crowd going, so we’re super excited to attend this one!
